Lyrics
I came back home and found i tread the ground dearest to me - these things that held me up It’s so easy to miss the road you’re standing on when you’re blinded It’s so easy to close your eyes against what you find When I feel I ain’t getting nowhere Like I’m losing the race When I can’t look myself in the face I take some time When the ship’s going down And I feel like I’m drowning And I can’t face the next round I take some time There’s too many people here to count But to me you still stand out because my past times are the remedy My side’s only half as wide to satisfy a new rendition It’s a will to help rebuild when my world’s under suspicion [chorus] I don’t want to play at introductions Don’t want to be shifting in the wind When I thought life was over I found out it’s time to begin So, maybe it ain’t bad I thought I caught you smiling, juggling the old times we had [chorus]When the ship's going down, I take some time. Fiddle, banjo and a crowd of voices.

who’s accord is broken? withered kneel and tread this back seat driver wound up upon intelligence i’m sorry i missed you wise sighted threatened best one plus two three sides now apply for rest once again it never was wide open why open up But could you hear me? now we don’t talk at all could you hear me? do you fear this call.. the rain makes lightning when simple fears rest do you fear this, or was it couldn’t you hear me? and i build a barricade as behind eyes shined apart i dove from clues to questions but i couldn’t find my heart... time sampled on above abreast beyond a simple wave but a single phrase strife frightened to write these songs sentence what became high over, overcome.. once again it never was wide open why open up But could you hear me? Now we don’t talk at all Could you hear me? Do you fear this call Could you hear me? Now we don’t talk at all Could you hear me? You couldn’t be near me.Could you hear me? Now we don't talk at all. Lyrics
Walking home The sun sweet setting Clutching trains of thought and steaming Armageddon Falling Rome Lies toe curling Crossing miles of sleeping child and smiling certain When wide awake Went away Take a break Share the day Calling home with no silver lining I‘m digging deep but sowing seems so far from dining I’m not alone I’m just pretending Seeking friend’s attention getting slowly ending [bridge] But who’s to say What comes around When what you seek Can’t be found Walking home The sun still setting Beneath this heaven’s gentle hand our friendship’s mending [bridge] [chorus] And whose to say Who wins at all When first you rise Then you fall Who’s to say What trails you weave When first you come And then you leaveWalking home, the sun sweet setting. Who's to say what comes around.

Lyrics
Savor one unaware Down but not out, close to the climb but dying under water Sides Win, Piled In, Wild Winds, and My Friends Moving into summer, and falling back through spring Things seemed wise at a time when i was flying round the bend Started sober, with a busted toe for thought Lying close to honest, saved by a deep breath a good guest, and a bright early start Slow Climb, Spare Time, Sharp Rise, How Time Flies Running back past center, and climbing in through change Base divided, slides provided, home rides back into range Slow stop...with inches to spare Cruised in lazy, now i’m digging holes in crazy and blinking through the glare Snow Soon, High Noon, No Rooms, and Show Tunes Using higher learning, and sacrificing sin These things tried, tired eyes again detract from open horizons Brief Walks, Quick Talks, Work Blocks, and My Clock Stops
Slow climb, spare time, sharp rise, how time flies. Marc Hutchinson takes the sax solo.

Lyrics
He burned your nose when he went to light your cigarette. I turned to go but decided not to leave just yet. Two thirds of a bottle had you shaking your head admit. You need to stabilize kid, maybe you should sit.. i know things are looking down but there’s wisdom at your level and your head still wears that crown i thought i saw you sinking, but i know you can breath under water out right now, you almost done? well sort of.. You tried to light it yourself and i saw your face smoking. Started laughing so hard i started choking. One more chuckle and you start to wobble, and i ask for a mouthful of what’s in your bottle.. he got it lighted and passed off the bottle and we all drank and shared our thoughts so what’s a problem a red can’t remedy? half a liter to soothe those sent to me made the night air warmer, and held off the storm. Now your butt’s almost gone and it’s half past late. So i made my move, but you you just wait. With that silly grin and you smell like wine. But soul means soul however you define..Two thirds of a bottle and a cigarette that won't light. There's wisdom at your level.
Lyrics
stories roam my mind let me tell you caution lost time closed in thin lines and walks through my ‘never minds’ let me tell you shy hides grey heights silent side, quick sights i’ll never be lazy beneath my sifted succumb and ‘know betters’ let me tell you free time, quick slides trick rides blue sky.. high times, sharp sides far strides, long nights let me tell you ..and no better
A minute and a half, guitar and voice alone. Stories roam my mind, let me tell you.

Lyrics
Seems so far away the more I stare at it closely Wise winds should breathe a sail full of mostly quiet thoughts Sit deep and move stone But ripples only shrug a silent surface As if a scar had a lighter shade outside but its depth in the bone When two steps back Won’t cover the overhead I’m two shades black I use my shadow’s sight instead And tonight I won’t look back It’s older than my memory’s sight’s intact I couldn’t walk outside without a far reaching light held by a passing glance Far past guessing, my uncertainty left a hard stare into my own eyes Troubled water splashed broken glass As if first found defects could turn the clock faster than the gentle breeze of chance [chorus] And now darkness comes slower then before days shortened Cold air kinder Taught sense by the Sun’s new presence Well I should have known spring comes stronger when chasing a longer winter As if this circle could be entranced, derailed, or becalmed by the limp sail of circumstance [chorus]When two steps back won't cover the overhead, I use my shadow's sight instead.

Lyrics
sitting low, regain my foothold as the summer’s sinking into rain bad left shoulder, cost and spoil, thoughts less of loss and gain and it’s one up to the shelter beneath my higher road i was asleep for three days pushing back boulders, been packing a heavy load and i came over the hill and i wished to the crowd i would not be lost along the way pitching the sun to the weather man and smiling with my eyes lost and lonely, cold and broken, night’s killing hope’s suprise selling the scent to the hunted and tracking through my dust warming the cold in the shoulder, fixing the break of the bust [chorus] aimless wonders what another could see in myself weathered summer cuts away the old rain to be with myself [chorus]And I came over the hill and I wished to the crowd I would not be lost along the way.
